Bryan Sholl
Owner and manager, Bryan Sholl began his journey in the construction industry began during his high school years, where he honed his carpentry skills while attending a technical school in Virginia Beach. Through valuable mentorship from various General Contractors, he gained hands-on experience, complementing his education. His pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Theater Arts from Old Dominion University didn't deter his commitment to carpentry; instead, it enhanced his skills, notably in constructing sets for theater and film productions.
With a rich background working for different contractors and a degree in hand, Bryan ventured into entrepreneurship in 2020, establishing West End Carpentry in Richmond, Virginia. His company specialized in top-tier kitchen, bath, and deck remodels, earning recognition in prominent publications like The New York Times, Vogue, Apartment Therapy, and Dwell Magazine.
However, Bryan discovered his passion lay in Kitchen construction and interior features. In 2023, this led to the inception of the West End Kitchen Company, a niche enterprise focused on crafting custom kitchens and enhancing indoor spaces for Richmond homeowners.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Bryan, a Varina resident, indulges in personal projects around his home and enjoys restoring vintage pickup trucks. He cherishes quality time with his niece and nephew, sharing memorable moments whenever possible.
